Hexagonest is the third Level in Super Hexagon. It is the successor of Hexagoner, and the predecessor to Hyper Hexagonest. It is the hardest regular Level, with a given difficulty of Hardest.

Gameplay

Hexagonest may seem very daunting at first, especially if the player has only just completed Hexagon or Hexagoner, but hasn't yet become used to any of the Hyper Levels. It has many patterns which may have been simple in Hexagoner, but now that the game is much faster, become much harder. It takes a while to to get used to, but once a player gets to Hyper Hexagonest, this Level seems to become very slow.

• Hexagonest has the highest number of colours for any Level's palette in Super Hexagon, at six.
  • The colours featured in this level are identical to the colours of the six crewmates in VVVVVV, another game by Terry Cavanagh.
• Some players consider this Level harder than Hyper Hexagon and Hyper Hexagoner purely due to the triangle sensitivity.
• After completing this level and failing at the Hyper Hexagonest segment after 60 seconds, the player is taken to the Final Hexagon, except that there is a single, unavoidable obstacle where the player inevitably dies.
